We successfully managed to transfer a 79 years/F  diagnosed with Basilar Artery stenosis , Right PCA occlusion with post Thrombectomy status from Maldives to Bangkok dated 08th June 2023.

Our team of medical experts analysed the case and prepared the team for repatriation on priority basis. Patient was planned to be shifted with BIPAP , However he was  intubated prior to repatriation in view of poor GCS and was on emergency medication drip.

Our medical team consisting of an Anaesthetist, ICU trained doctor and paramedic were ready with all the emergency equipment kit. We carried the Ventilator, emergency medications, oxygen cylinders, Automated External Defibrillator, infusion pumps and suction equipment  to be used enroute in case of emergency. Our team also carried Spine board with Mattress for transfer from aircraft to ground ambulance and vice versa.

The patient was shifted from ground ambulance to Charter flight with all due precautions . The flight time was 6 hours and we managed to carry out the high risk transfer  in a Charter air craft smoothly. Our Medical Team continuously monitored the patient on ventilator throughout the journey . After reaching Bankok he was transferred to ground ambulance to be shifted to the  hospital 

The repatriation was successfully completed after our patient reached his destination hospital in scheduled time for further management.
